upcoming projects
we’ve partnered with 8 pioneers to showcase our building solution in 2025.
This Spring, we’re going to be delivering for 8 Pioneer properties across North America. Use cases include:
A tiny house in the Canadian Arctic
An outdoor spa on Lake Simcoe
A custom home office in Pebble Beach
Below are some of our earliest Pioneers:

Kuujjuaq
With winters getting as low as -50 degrees celcius, it’s crucial that homes built in the North can keep the heat where it belongs.
Our vacuum insulation does that 10x better than any other technology, allowing our homes to be built with 1/10th the material of traditional construction.
For Kuujjuaq, a remote village in the Canadian Arctic, this is quite important, as all building materials have to be shipped by barge, and labour is scarce.
To help develop the region, we’ll be starting with a tiny home for workforce housing before we look to scale up to two bedroom homes.
We’re super excited about this project, and can’t wait to share it!

mika
Mika travels frequently and likes to visit her daughter for weeks at a time. While she’s there, space is limited, leaving no room for her to call her own.
That’s why we’ll be developing her a backyard suite on her daughters property in Toronto.
Mika’s Tinybox will be well equipped to easily transform between a bedroom, office, and living space, giving her the functionality she needs.
“I am very excited to begin the journey. My experience with Charlie has been great, he is very accommodating and knowledgable, which makes me feel at ease. I feel honoured to be part of the pioneer campaign and look forward to a successful project!”
~Mika
With limited access to the backyard and large trees blocking potential cranes, Mika wouldn’t be able to build with traditional prefab. We ship our units flat-pack to site, then assemble them in under 2 weeks, allowing us to build in any location.

Joseph
Joseph has recently purchased a small home nestled in the coastal mountains of Washington. For Joe to have a dedicated office space and give guests a place to stay, we’ll be building him a backyard cabin to compliment his existing one.
The cold temperatures of Washington’s winters requires its buildings to be well insulated. That’s why we’re equipping Joseph’s with our vacuum-insulated panels, achieving an R60 enclosure with walls 5” thick.
“I have a mountain cabin I work remotely from intermittently. With the cold winters and hot summers, Tinybox is the only affordable option to separate my live and work spaces without falling victim to the elements. Due to the flexible & compressing furniture, it will also be a workout room and a bedroom for guests at different times of the day!”
~Joseph
We’ll be documenting the entire build in this mountainous region. Subscribe to our social media channels to follow along.
